This course is designed as a one year top-up to honours degree from a Foundation degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. The course is intended for students who are aiming to work in either a paid or voluntary capacity within the counselling sector and who wish to study to honours level, and perhaps beyond, in order to enhance their employment prospects, access promotion opportunities or move into a different work sphere. Applicants will be required to have achieved a FdSc in Counselling qualification or a counselling-related specialism. Achievement of an Advanced Diploma will also be considered, provided that the applicant can evidence a minimum 120 credits at Level 5. Transferable skills and relevant professional experience will be considered on an individual basis. Entry requirements are for guidance only.
