Acting and performing in the screen industries these days requires a wide range of skills and understanding. We believe that in order to succeed as an actor in the screen industries – whether you want to act in high-end drama, present on tv, or perform on social media – you need to understand the basics of film and content production as well as screen acting.
On the BA (Hons) Acting for Screen programme at MetFilm School Leeds, we will equip you with the understanding, knowledge, and skills to become a screen actor, performer, and presenter – from working with character, subtext, and script to specialist acting skills fit for the modern world. You will learn how to prepare for castings and auditions, and how to become a commensurate professional. And in parallel, you will learn and practice aspects of production such as story, directing actors, shooting a scene, and editing in parallel with screen acting.

Once you submit your application, a member of the Admissions team will be in touch to arrange a brief interview. This can be done in person at Ealing Film Studios, where we are based, or over the phone. Applicants will be assessed on their background, creative experience and passion for studying at ScreenSpace. Applicants are encouraged to research ScreenSpace and MetFilm School prior to applying. If you are accepted at ScreenSpace, you will be given an offer via UCAS. It is then your responsibility to accept this offer at your preferred institution.
